The VCA Patients Voice a non-profit focused on improving the quality of life of VCA candidates, recipients, their families and providing information to the donors’ families. It offers useful knowledge and real experience for VCA patients, their families and anyone interested in it. “Smart” patients always have better results and higher quality of life. Vascularized composite allotransplantation (VCA) is a new reconstructive option that involves transplantation of the composite tissues in one surgical procedure and allows to restore the appearance, anatomy, and function in the defects that cannot be repaired with conventional techniques.
